Overview

Tania Newcombe is a highly professional management accountant with over 16 years experience across a variety of industries including transport, manufacturing, mining and recruitment. CPA qualified, Tania has a versatile background with a skill set encompassing areas from management accounting and analysis, to company secretarial work and consulting.

Tania has an open style of communication and management that enable her to work comfortably with all levels of an organisation. She has a proven ability to meet the changing needs of organisations and has successfully created and implemented operating procedures to accommodate such change. Tania's attention to detail combined with her strategic thinking enable her to both understand the issues faced by businesses and provide appropriate solutions.

A particular interest of Tania's is the efficient working of both small and large teams, and she has successfully managed large groups of employees in the past. Her supportive and empathetic style combined with a flexible approach to problem solving has allowed her to mentor and develop staff at all levels.

Senior Associate with Hamilton Shaw Consulting providing clients with financial analysis, modelling and commercial assistance in IT.
State Accountant with Australian Air Express, responsible for the management accounting functions of the Victorian and Tasmanian divisions including budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
Business Manager, Hays Accountancy Personnel, responsible for the mentoring and management of a team of recruitment professionals in the financial executive area.
Management Accountant, Saracen Mineral Holdings – assisted company secretary in all aspects of the function for five Australian publicly listed companies, nine Australian subsidiaries and eight PNG subsidiaries.
Financial and Management Accounting roles with BHP in a number of divisions including Group Reporting, BHP Minerals and BHP Steel.

Tania has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Masters of Business Administration from Deakin University.
