Hamilton Shaw Consulting was engaged by Medibank Private Information Technology to determine the Total Cost of Ownership of its IT Infrastructure environment including Midrange, Desktop & Distributed Systems, Voice and Data Communications and Mainframe. This involved a full review of the cost base as well as initiation and reconciliation of an asset audit for all assets currently utilised in the environment. The results have been used as input to a strategic sourcing strategy and recommendations for improved asset management are currently being implemented by Hamilton Shaw Consulting.
