Katrina Barnden – Senior Associate

Overview

Katrina Barnden is practical, customer-orientated individual who consistently achieves high results through her systematic approach and commitment to client needs. She is a Chartered Accountant with 16 years financial/business analysis and project management experience across a variety of industries including professional services, local and state government, financial services and transport in Australia, Singapore and UK.

Katrina has been operating as a consultant for the last 6 years and has a strong focus on delivery. Not afraid of getting into the detail, she has a proven ability to research, interpret and consolidate large volumes of information down to the critical elements to enable rapid problem solving. She brings clients substantial expertise in designing and improving management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling, investment analysis and tender evaluation. She is practical and straightforward in her approach, enjoying interaction with business stakeholders to ensure the most appropriate solution is delivered.

Working with Katrina is a pleasure. She is balanced in her approach to work -warm in her interactions, likes to have fun - whilst always remaining professional and focused at the task at hand. She is careful to ensure her team understand the “what” and the “why” of the activities and priorities with knowledge transfer and growth of staff key in her approach.

Katrina graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy).
