Bronwyn Ross – Senior Associate

Overview

Bronwyn Ross is an accomplished general business manager, experienced in building and managing teams and meeting revenue accountability. Admitted to practise as a lawyer in 1991 with Australian law firm Freehills, she practised in the areas of intellectual property and information technology law before being seconded to Telstra in 1997. Bronwyn spent almost ten years in telecommunications, gaining experience in network technologies, convergent business models, procurement, management reporting, strategy and planning. Her roles included Technology Counsel and Director of legacy Wide Area Networking (WAN) technologies. In the latter role Bronwyn initiated a number of positioning and exit strategies to maximise EBIT outcomes for the mature product portfolio, including introduction of activity-based cost models and a major re-pricing initiative.

Bronwyn has very strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry. She is known for her ability to engage at all levels, from technical to strategic. Her strong interpersonal skills and emphasis on process efficiency, people management and knowledge management ensure relevant and useful business outcomes.

Bronwyn has a passion for building effective teams. She takes a real interest in the personal and professional development of those around her; guiding and challenging to help individuals reach their potential and the team to deliver measurable results.
